Explore the unique features of Pico Tango reusable nappies
1. A True ‘One Size’
Say goodbye to snap rising for different sizes. Our fold down rise adjusting system ensures a perfect fit from just 3 kg newborns to toddlers, offering comfort and protection without unnecessary bulk.
2. Leak-free design
Not only can our nappies absorb up to 550 mL, concentrating the absorbency where babies need it most, but they also feature a double elastic gusset that acts as an absorbent barrier.
3. Superior comfort
We prioritize your baby’s comfort with thoughtful design elements, including an ultra-soft 100% Tencel™ liocell layer extending to the top edge, keeping your baby’s tummy dry and ensuring breathability. The leg gussets are lined with organic cotton and rolled elastics, providing a snug and gentle fit without leaving marks on your baby’s delicate skin.
4. Cleaning the oceans
By utilizing SEAQUAL® YARN in our products, we actively contribute to ocean cleanup efforts. For every kilo of SEAQUAL® YARN used in our products, SEAQUAL Initiative removed one kilo of marine litter from the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. This high-quality 100% post-consumer recycled polyester yarn is derived from cleaned marine plastic, making a difference in the fight against ocean pollution.
5. Ethical and sustainable production
Our production takes place in Portugal, where we ensure fair treatment of workers, fair wages, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. At PICO TANGO, ethical practices are at the core of everything we do. Explore our Ethics section for detailed information on our materials, supply chain, and carbon footprint. Additionally, our weaving partners in Portugal recycle 99% of textile waste generated during the weaving stage, minimizing the environmental impact.
Our absorbents are made from naturally biodegradable fibers – organic cotton and Tencel lyocell. The water-resistant parts feature a strong interlock weaving structure of recycled polyester, and are laser cut, sealing the seams so that they substantially minimize fiber release during the wash.
